چکیده
The GRACE large-scale sequent GRACE-FO gravity satellite mission is providing monthly field solutions for almost 20 years enabling a unique opportunity to monitor mass variation processes. anomaly time series the Aral Sea region has been derived period of April 2002 January 2022. method determining from and improved by taking into account variations Caspian Sea. then compared estimates. For deriving anomaly, beyond available water volume data, density were determined salinity temperature changes. Unfortunately, no reliable information either on or changes accessible. Furthermore, not only data but also methodology reliable. Still, tests suggest that slight improvement in correlation due involvement occurs.

Seasonal variations in sea level induced by continental water mass: First results from GRACE
[1] Variations in the Earth’s water cycle are commonly quantified by their effect on global mean sea‐level. However, the interaction between passive adjustment of the ocean to changes in gravitational attraction due to mass redistribution, the related deformation of the solid Earth and disturbances in the Earth’s rotation vector will yield a distribution that is more complicated than a uniform ...
متن کاملEstimated accuracies of regional water storage variations inferred from the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE)
[1] The satellite Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) provides data describing monthly changes in the geoid, which are closely related to changes in vertically integrated terrestrial water storage. Unlike conventional point or gridded hydrologic measurements, such as those from rain gauges, stream gauges, rain radars, and radiometric satellite images, GRACE data are sets of Stokes c...
متن کاملtime-variable gravity determination from the grace gravity solutions filtered by tikhonov regularization in sobolev subspace
the grace mission has provided scientific community time-variable gravity field solutions with high precision and on a global scale. the grace mission was launched on march 2003. this mission consists of two satellites that pursue each other in their orbit. distance between two satellites in orbit is measured continuously to an accuracy of better than 1 micron using kbr system placed in satelli...
متن کاملGreenland mass balance from GRACE
[1] We use 22 monthly GRACE (Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment) gravity fields to estimate the linear trend in Greenland ice mass during 2002–2004. We recover a decrease in total ice mass of 82 ± 28 km of ice per year, consistent with estimates from other techniques. Our uncertainty estimate is dominated by the effects of GRACE measurement errors and errors in our post glacial rebound (PG...
متن کاملValidation of Oceanic Mass Changes derived from GRACE Gravimetry
The satellite mission GRACE (Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment) provides monthly solutions of the global gravity field of the Earth. Temporal variations in gravity reflect mass redistributions over the Earth. Those mass movements are caused by physical phenomena such as ice sheet dynamics, accumulation of hydrological masses over land, the dynamics in the solid Earth and the dynamics in t...
